Tpad provides PM+M state-of-the-art Business Telephone System

In October 2010, PM+M Chartered Accountants were planning a move to new premises on Challenge Way, Blackburn (Lancashire). This move from Central Blackburn was in itself a significant project for the firm who were moving offices to more modern premises.

PM+M are one of the leading business advisory and accountancy firms in the North West of England and has grown steadily through natural growth and mergers with other firms to become a broad based provider of advice to businesses and individuals.

Due to their active participation in Praxity - a global alliance ofindependent firms, they are in a very strong position, enabling them toprovide services to the highest of international standards.

For PM+M communication is key, and a heavy reliance is put upon their IT infrastructure to deliver the highest standards for their clients and their own workforce.

The move presented several challenges, not least of which, was remaining fully functional for their clients. The move provided an ideal opportunity to improve their IT data connection and review their telephony requirements.

PM+M had a 70 user Cisco phone system which was at capacity and did not provide them with the features and functionality they required to move their business forward. In addition to this they were limited by a 2Mb private circuit and 16 ISDN lines.

Tpad Telephony Solution:

After meeting with Tpad and their solutions design team for a full communications review and audit, PM+M opted for the latest in IP telephone systems with integration to their in house CRM platform and door entry system. The Tpad solution offered technical compatibility aswell as attractive and commercial relationship.

The communications review and audit highlighted where PM+M were currently spending money, identified system inefficiencies and also provided the future plan for PM+M, taking into account the shape of what future success would look like for them.

After this review was conducted, a series of recommendations were presented to PM+M and they chose a Hosted Platform solution. This platform will ultimately service PM+M's second site in Burnley and also allows Home Workers / Field Workers to access the phone system remotely, with simple logins and security permissions.

PMM case study Commercially, the whole solution Tpad recommended was within budget and delivered an increased capacity of data services, which is not normally experienced at our new location. Based on the projected savings on calls and line rental alone, PM+M is expecting a return on investment within 12 to 18 months from the date of installation.

PM+M Feedback and Comments:

Stephen Anderson - Partner
" The design and installation of the system went very smoothly with Tpad providing a very responsive and focussed service before, during and after our physical move. Now that we are settled into our new environment, the system gives us cost certainty along with flexibility and the opportunity to grow without major capital investment. The support we receive from Tpad has continued to be responsive."

Colin Emmett - Director of IT Services
" The personal touch from the implementation team provided me with so much confidence during the installation and the initial live testing period, knowing that the Tpad Team understood our requirements and could deliver a tailored solution to our specification. The continued proactive approach from the Tpad team means that any refining we need to make or issues we encounter are efficiently and speedily resolved."

Tpad To Make 1000 Business Telephone Systems Available Free to UK Business

Tpad, The Business Telephony Specialists are to introduce a new model for Business Telephone Sales in the UK market. Tpad Small Business Systems, up to 20 users, will be made available free to 1000 UK businesses in Phase 1 of the program. This will be done on a first register basis, and businesses will be urged to register on the tpad.com/business website in order to qualify, when the offer is launched.

In the past, state-of-the-art telephony features were previously only found in multi-million pound systems, and only afforded by large corporations. Recently, new technology has enabled such features to be accessed, for example as a service, at £30 per user, per month. However, Tpad has gone one step further and made these (and associated on-site telephony hardware) available FREE for small business, providing they switch their lines and broadband to Tpad. Furthermore, Tpad are providing a guarantee that users will not pay any more than their existing suppliers for the lines, broadband and calls (and in most cases will pay much less).Tpad already sells a wide range of advanced systems to large companies, and this offer has been made available to small business only, and is limited to 2 User, 4 User, 8 User, 12 User and 20 User systems.

Tpad Sales Director Simon Jones commented “Businesses can get the latest Business Telephone System, any size up to 20 users, which would normally cost up to £21,600 absolutely free, when they switch their broadband, lines and calls to us. Even this condition is a benefit to most businesses as instead of paying another supplier for the lines and broadband, they pay us, and in most cases they pay much less! There really is no catch in the deal, as we guarantee this”

He added “Many businesses want the next generation phone system that allows them to be more productive and delivers the latest features such as Call Recording, Fax-to-email and ability for staff to work from home, or indeed from anywhere whilst giving the impression they are in the office. Now, with Tpad they can have all of this free. There really is no reason for any business not to take up this offer”

The core of all the Tpad Small Business Telephone Solutions is the Colossus Advanced Telephone Platform. Colossus consists of clusters of very powerful computers hosted at Tpad data centres, that provide the ultimate, future-proof, scalable telephone platform. Now, using Tpad lines, small businesses can easily link to Colossus and benefit from features that were previously only available on multi-million pound corporate telephone systems.

John Free, Group Marketing Director commented “The features and benefits provided by Tpad’s Colossus Platform and the complete Tpad Small Business Telephone Solution can indeed be provided by other large telephone companies. The key difference is price. Tpad does not charge anything, as its model is based upon acquiring large numbers of small business customers that could purchase other IT services in the future. In contrast, other companies charge for the telephone platform and also for the telephone hardware at the customer site!”

Tpad Expands Shopping Convenience for Consumers with PayPal

Leading Tier One Provider of VoIP Technology Offers Customers an Easier Way to Buy Tpad VoIP Call Credits

Tpad, one of the industry’s most progressive telephony companies, is dedicated to providing superior customer care and high quality service in VoIP technology. The company recently announced the expansion of their customer payment options to include PayPal, one of the most widely used online payment processors. For Tpad customers around the world who use PayPal, purchasing their VoIP call credits just got a lot easier.

PayPal began operations in 1999 as an online payment processor. For small businesses, PayPal works as an alternative to an expensive merchant account. For individuals, PayPal is a secure method for shopping online instead of using their credit card. The company was purchased by eBay in 2002.

"When our customers tell us their preferences, we listen and respond. We are very pleased to provide more convenience to our customers in the UK, US and European countries. For individuals who have desired to take advantage of the savings that VoIP technology offers but preferred this method of payment over the use of a credit card online, now they have the best of both worlds. Tpad’s next-generation communication services are designed to keep our customers in touch with their world at the lowest VoIP rates possible," Brand Director of Tpad, Steven Johns noted. “Our individual customers can now enjoy the same cost-saving advantages VoIP provides for our business customers. “

Tpad’s strategy is to provide an array of payment options to allow customers to select the one they are most comfortable using for their purchase. In addition, Tpad customers are not bound by long-term, expensive contracts; they can purchase VoIP credits starting at $5.  Tpad joins millions of merchants online who use PayPal as one of their payment options because of its secure transaction facility.

Tpad (http://www.tpad.com) has made it easy to access these savings; customers simply register for a free Tpad VoIP account. Once you verify your email, log in with your 7 digit Tpad number and password.  You can select the level of VoIP call credits you want to purchase and when you click the PayPal button you will be taken to the secure PayPal website to complete your purchase.

PayPal also affords customers the ability to make payments via their mobile phone, which means Tpad customers on the go can always be sure that they can purchase their VoIP call credits without using a computer. Tpad customers can save significantly on their international and local calls in comparison using their local telecom service as the majority of destinations only cost 1 pence per minute.

The Tpad VoIP advantage is not only in the savings, but in the level of crystal clear voice quality and superior customer care from Tpad’s tier one data center.  Unlike the case of making an international call on many mobile carriers, the receiver of the call is not charged when the connection is made, no matter where they are on the globe or the length of the call.

Customers can use any standard mobile phone with Nimbuzz or Fring SIP software installed to access the Tpad VoIP network or download a free PC soft phone such as ZoIPer, Express Talk or Xlite. If customers have a SIP/VoIP compatible device such as an IP phone, Nokia Wi-Fi Mobile or Linksys ATA phone, they can access the service as well. Consumers and Tpad both benefit from this payment option; for consumers they can purchase just the amount they need without any hidden transaction fees, and Tpad is able to further enhance its level of customer satisfaction.
