Tpad selects Voxbone as Global Provider of Local Access DID Numbers
Tpad, the global provider of the residential, mobile and business VoIP phone services, today announced that Voxbone would be the main provider for their local access DID numbers.
Local access DID numbers enable Tpad customers to receive calls in over 40 countries using direct local numbers dialled from any normal landline. Beyond the dramatic cost savings of using these local numbers, Tpad also provides any user or business a simple means to expand their global presence quickly with minimal costs.
Voxbone is a leading provider of international VoIP origination services to carriers, ITSPs, calling card operators, NGNs (Next Generation Networks), call centers and other businesses around the world.
Tpad selected Voxbone because of the huge availability of customized numbers, its high quality of service, plethora of virtual phone numbers and SIP trunks, and ultimately the immediate fast setup time it offers.
Introduced in January 2006, Tpad's free to use service enables customers to make phone calls without being next to a computer or any internet access. Customers can simply call the Tpad local access phone numbers from any landline or mobile then dial the unique Tpad SIP Number of their friend, no matter where they are in the world.
"Tpad allows everyone to benefit from the advantages of Internet VoIP calling, even if they don't have internet or PC access," said Steven Johns, Marketing Manager of Tpad. "To provide such a revolutionary free service, we needed a partner that operates globally with a high level of quality and stability. Voxbone is that ideal partner for Tpad."
Johns continued, "Tpad was one of the first VoIP Companies to offer this free service of free or ultra low-cost international phone calls from any phone device. Calling a local number connects the caller with their global Tpad contacts for the price of a local phone call, sometimes even free depending on the user's current call plan."
Voxbone leases international VoIP virtual phone numbers and worldwide origination services via VoIP to organizations in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Pacific regions. It delivers high-quality call origination and provides the global infrastructure that enables its users to expand to global markets quickly and efficiently.
Using direct inbound dial (DID) and toll free numbers from Voxbone, Tpad customers may receive inexpensive, locally dialled phone calls. Using standard VoIP hardware (ATA / Softphone / IP Phone / Nokia WiFi) users can receive these calls for free or call forward them to any landline or mobile in the world at usual low cost VoIP call rates.
