Tpad signs Mobile VoIP Affiliate Agreement with Nimbuzz

Tpad, the global provider of residential and business VoIP phone services, today announced a new mobile VoIP service powered by the Nimbuzz mobile platform.

Tpad, a leading provider of internet telephony services, and Nimbuzz, the most comprehensive Instant Messaging, (geo) presence, and VoIP provider, have signed an affiliate agreement in order to compete in the lucrative mobile VoIP market.

Nimbuzz offers the most comprehensive social interaction service combining Instant Messaging, (geo) presence, and VoIP. The free application is available on the mobile, PC and web, for instant messaging, location sharing, (group)calling, and file sharing across popular communities, including Skype, Windows Live Messenger (MSN), Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, AIM, GaduGadu, Jabber, and 23 social networks including Facebook and MySpace.

Tpad will promote Nimbuzz to their customers on their website (www.tpad.com) from which customers can instantly register and download the Nimbuzz service to their mobile phone and PC. This gives them the capability of easily making free SIP / VoIP calls on their mobile phones to other Tpad users or standard low cost VoIP calls to any landline or mobile in the world.

Once users download the free Nimbuzz application for the mobile and register for free as a new user, contacts from their selected Instant Messaging communities are aggregated into a single contact list with icons indicating real-time "presence" - which contacts are online or offline and from which communities.

Nimbuzz users then can simply add their personal Tpad SIP / VoIP Settings to the application to allow their mobile phone to make and receive low cost VoIP calls anywhere in the world using their personal Tpad SIP number.

"We see these partnerships as providing real value to operators looking to increase ARPU and offer their customers full access to Instant Messaging and social networks without the risk and costs associated with setting this up themselves." comments Evert-Jaap Lugt, CEO of Nimbuzz.

Funded by Mangrove Capital Partners and staffed by award-winning developers and industry experts, Nimbuzz is bringing aggregated IM and social network chat to the mobile and PC. Nimbuzz is growing at well over 10k new users per day and serves over 10 million logins daily.

Tpad is a true global VoIP network and offers users a wide range of VoIP / SIP devices (Softphones, ATAs, IP phones or WiFi mobiles) to make free or low cost calls anywhere in the world with crystal clear quality.

"Tpad aims to provide customers with ever growing calling options and the rapidly expanding market is mobile VoIP", comments Steven Johns, Marketing Manager of Tpad. "The recently signed affiliate agreement with Nimbuzz will allow our Tpad users to freely communicate with each other across different networks worldwide. The cooperation with Nimbuzz is just the beginning of our range of new VoIP services" Johns added.

Tpad selects Voxbone as Global Provider of Local Access DID Numbers

Tpad, the global provider of the residential, mobile and business VoIP phone services, today announced that Voxbone would be the main provider for their local access DID numbers.

Local access DID numbers enable Tpad customers to receive calls in over 40 countries using direct local numbers dialled from any normal landline. Beyond the dramatic cost savings of using these local numbers, Tpad also provides any user or business a simple means to expand their global presence quickly with minimal costs.

Voxbone is a leading provider of international VoIP origination services to carriers, ITSPs, calling card operators, NGNs (Next Generation Networks), call centers and other businesses around the world.

Tpad selected Voxbone because of the huge availability of customized numbers, its high quality of service, plethora of virtual phone numbers and SIP trunks, and ultimately the immediate fast setup time it offers.

Introduced in January 2006, Tpad's free to use service enables customers to make phone calls without being next to a computer or any internet access. Customers can simply call the Tpad local access phone numbers from any landline or mobile then dial the unique Tpad SIP Number of their friend, no matter where they are in the world.

"Tpad allows everyone to benefit from the advantages of Internet VoIP calling, even if they don't have internet or PC access," said Steven Johns, Marketing Manager of Tpad. "To provide such a revolutionary free service, we needed a partner that operates globally with a high level of quality and stability. Voxbone is that ideal partner for Tpad."

Johns continued, "Tpad was one of the first VoIP Companies to offer this free service of free or ultra low-cost international phone calls from any phone device. Calling a local number connects the caller with their global Tpad contacts for the price of a local phone call, sometimes even free depending on the user's current call plan."

Voxbone leases international VoIP virtual phone numbers and worldwide origination services via VoIP to organizations in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Pacific regions. It delivers high-quality call origination and provides the global infrastructure that enables its users to expand to global markets quickly and efficiently.

Using direct inbound dial (DID) and toll free numbers from Voxbone, Tpad customers may receive inexpensive, locally dialled phone calls. Using standard VoIP hardware (ATA / Softphone / IP Phone / Nokia WiFi) users can receive these calls for free or call forward them to any landline or mobile in the world at usual low cost VoIP call rates.

6 Reasons why should you pick a Tpad Hosted IP PBX Solution over a dated Traditional PBX

Lower CAPEX Costs with Tpad: Buying a traditional phone system is like buying an expensive new car, it significantly depreciates the day you place it in service. You can put that money to better use by spending less up-front by installing our brand new VoIP managed IP PBX solution. Cut down on expensive business telephone lines as Tpad will only use your Internet Connection.

Tpad is Dynamically Scalable / Flexible: Up-size and Down-size on the fly. Our solution lets you setup the exact number of users you need right now - later you can instantly add users when you actually need them. This helps preserve capital in comparison to guessing what size PBX system you need to buy today to support the number of users you think you'll have in 3 - 5 years.

Tpad is Cheaper, Easier to Maintain and fully Updateable: Moves, add's or extension changes no longer require on-site changes to your phone system. The Tpad Call Management Software has the flexibility to add, change, delete or move users within minutes. Your expenses will be reduced by eliminating costly monthly maintenance contracts or the high labour cost required to have a techie onsite for every change you need.

Tpad Uses Non-Proprietary Components: When you buy a traditional PBX phone system, you're locking your company into a long term commitment to a proprietary architecture that may or may not keep pace with technological changes. Bottom line, you are betting your company's future that the proprietary technology will remain compatible with evolving industry standards. In the future, there's a good chance with a traditional PBX you'll be at the manufacturer's mercy for repair and expansion since only their parts will work with your purchase. Tpad is fully compatible with all SIP / VoIP Products from multiple phone manufacturers.

Tpad Eliminates Technology Obsolescence: Since you're not purchasing an actual phone system, you don't have to worry about the equipment becoming obsolete or any upgrading / software requirements as Tpad will be fully responsible for your system 24/7.

Improved Features for Improved Productivity: Take advantage of recent developments in Remote Home Workers, this allows staff to work from home that is proven to drastically increase productivity. Other features that will improve the way you control your calling, like Voicemail to email, Unique DID's (have a Global presence in any country), Toll Free incoming Numbers, Find-Me/Follow-Me, Click-to-Call, Call Forwarding, Hunt Groups, custom IVR messages and many more easy to use yet powerful features.

The system can be used to connect multiple remote offices anywhere in the world and provides support for WiFi mobility and tele-working for home users, thus providing a unified calling experience for all parties.

“With Tpad's managed IP PBX service, only a suitable broadband connection is needed, allowing companies to say goodbye to their traditional expensive carrier altogether, said Chris Morris, General Manager of Tpad.

We have designed the Tpad Pro solution to be a cost effective and user friendly as possible so non-technical staff can adapt with very little training. This means your business can have a professional front end with little upfront investment with Tpad providing the broadband connection we will endeavour to deliver a seamless one stop shop for your communication needs.” he went on.

Part of the cost savings comes from new cutting edge technology built on open standards, more specifically SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), which is driving down the cost of VoIP phones and services. These open standards give Tpad a massive advantage over larger corporate vendors whose offerings are traditionally more expensive, Morris said.

"Many competitors charge you up to £1500 for a set of fancy, over complicated IP phones to sit on your desk," he said. "With our flexible solution you can choose the right phone for your business needs, whether it will be a combination of IP Phone, ATA, PC Softphone or Nokia Mobile."

Tpad is compatible with any SIP / VoIP Device, from a standard IP Phone (e.g. Linksys / Grandstream / Snom) to the newest Mobile VoIP technology using Nokia WiFi Mobiles (N and E Series e.g. N95 / E65). Our main aim is to allow SME’s to use any type of device they desire on our global VoIP network.

Asian Business Foundation (A.B.F), a resource management firm in Blackburn, U.K, has tested our solution for several weeks. Asif Sadiq, partner with the firm said, “The greatest benefit so far has been dramatic cost savings in call costs.

"We like the idea of a pay as you go calling plan," Sadiq said. "We only pay for what calls we make so there are is no scope for wastages. We've cut our costs in half and our long-distance bill is virtually non-existent now."

The small office traded in an outdated and costly PBX that hadn't been entirely reliable or easy to use, Sadiq said.

"Now what we have is a compact computer just a little bit bigger than a laptop, and that now is our phone server," he said. "It's a very clean and very simple telephony solution.
